In Monday's non-league contest, the host Lockport Porters basketball team scored a big 81-50 triumph over the Joliet Central Steelmen.
The Porters (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Celtics go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Providence Catholic was trounced by Lemont (Lemont, IL), 65-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Steelmen battle the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, November 27. Joliet Central will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Lemont HS go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 65-50 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).
