The Carver Yellowjackets basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix to 1 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Monday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bethany Community for a 1A Northwest Piedmont game on Tuesday, December 3. Carver will confront a Wolves team coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Winston-Salem Prep falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 0-4. Glenn lost 58-11 in their recent non-league game against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC)
