Louisiana High School Basketball - University Lab sneaks past East Ascension

The University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball edged the visiting East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA), 48-44 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Cubs now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Dutchtown for a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. University Lab will play a Griffins team coming off a 46-37 non-league win over Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, East Ascension falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
