The MCC Crescents basketball team scored 33 points and limited the host Universal Stars to 24 in the Crescents non-league triumph on Monday.

The Crescents now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Unity Christian Academy for a Metro Prep game on Tuesday, November 26. MCC will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 53-11 league win over Aqsa (Bridgeview, IL). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Universal falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Stars travel to Aqsa (Bridgeview, IL) to confront the Legends in a Metro Prep game on Friday, December 6. The Legends go into the game with a record of 1-2. Aqsa lost 46-37 in their recent league game against College Prep of America (Lombard, IL)
