In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Flowery Branch Falcons basketball team scored a close 64-62 triumph over the Apalachee Wildcats.
The Falcons (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson (Gainesville, GA). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 0-4 record.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Hall for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. Apalachee will face a Spartans squad coming off a 63-42 non-league loss to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-2.
