In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Clear Brook Wolverines basketball team scored a close 48-41 triumph over the Dobie Longhorns.
The Wolverines (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ball (Galveston, TX). The Tornadoes go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Ball got by Clear Creek (League City, TX), 66-61, in a non-league match.
The Longhorns now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Bend Austin for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. Dobie will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-54 non-league win over Klein Cain (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
