George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS), 69-55 in a non-league contest.
The Rebels (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Robertsdale Golden Bears (Robertsdale, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 2. East Central will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Golden Bears go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 60-54 non-league loss to Theodore (Theodore, AL).
