Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team smash the host Hampton Bulldogs (Hampton, TN), 61-40 in a non-league contest.

The Blue Devils (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Unaka (Elizabethton, TN). The Rangers go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Unaka smashed Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN), 44-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 2. Hampton will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 1-0 record after their 34-25 non-league win over Hancock County (Sneedville, TN).
