The Dixon Bulldogs basketball squad (Holly Ridge, NC), was nudged 55-49 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC)
With the victory, South Lenoir improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blue Devils host Union (Rose Hill, NC) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 3. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 2. Dixon will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 43-30 non-league win over East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC).
