The Amboy Clippers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host West Carroll Thunder to 34 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Clippers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Serena for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Amboy will battle a Huskers team coming off a 61-47 non-league win over Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Huskers record now stands at 3-1.
The Thunder (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Oregon ran past Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL), 65-61, in a non-league contest.
