The Biggsville West Central Heat basketball team (Biggsville, IL), was nudged 37-32 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL)
The Red Storm now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bushnell-Prairie City for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 29. Monmouth United will battle a Spartans team coming off a 56-45 non-league win over Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.
The Heat (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Riverdale edged Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL), 61-47, in a non-league battle.
