The Morton Potters (Morton, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Phillips Wildcats (Chicago, IL), 55-51 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Potters (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Rantoul was tipped by Highland (Highland, IL), 52-45, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Simeon for a Chicago Public - Red South test on Thursday, December 1.
