California High School Basketball - Santa Cruz can't hold off St. Ignatius

The St. Ignatius Wildcats basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Santa Cruz Cardinals to 72 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everett Alvarez for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. St. Ignatius will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-40 league win over Greenfield (Greenfield, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
