Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) and the visiting Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN), saw La Crescent's basketball squad overcome Pine Island by a tally of 63-50.

With the victory, La Crescent improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Luther (Onalaska, WI) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Panthers play the Cannon Falls Bombers (Cannon Falls, MN) in a AA Section 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Pine Island will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
