The River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Pearl City Wolves to 20 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byron for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 26. River Ridge/Scales Mound will battle a Tigers team coming off a 57-36 non-league win over Aquin Catholic (Freeport, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.

The Wolves (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, North Boone was routed by River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL), 69-14, in a non-league contest.
