St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Warren Bears (Downey, CA), 72-70 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Anthony upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Saints travel to Serra (Gardena, CA) to play the Cavaliers in a bout on Friday, January 6. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Bears play the Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 28. Warren will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 57-51 non-league win over Marquez (Huntington Park, CA).
