In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Palo Duro Dons basketball team scored a close 63-61 triumph over the Memorial Mavericks.
The Dons (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar (Arlington, TX). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Lamar was tipped by Marcus (Flower Mound, TX), 62-31, in a non-league contest.
