In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Taft Greyhounds basketball team scored a good 87-67 triumph over the Woodsboro Eagles.

The Greyhounds (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX). The Marlins go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Port Aransas was toppled by Mabank (Mabank, TX), 64-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the McMullen County Cowboys (Tilden, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Woodsboro will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
