In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Alexandria Cardinals basketball team scored a close 81-76 triumph over the Brainerd Warriors.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Storm go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Sauk Rapids-Rice was tipped by Willmar (Willmar, MN), 84-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Brainerd will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Royals go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 86-76 league loss to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN).
