Iowa High School Basketball - Mormon Trail holds off Diagonal

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Mormon Trail Saints basketball team scored a close 38-37 triumph over the Diagonal Maroons.

The Saints (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Southeast Warren tipped Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA), 35-32, in a non-league battle.

The Maroons now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Mills for a non-league battle on Monday, December 2.
