Georgia High School Basketball - Vidalia knocks off Screven County

November 26, 2024: Vidalia, GA 30474

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Vidalia Indians basketball team scored a good 51-37 win over the Screven County Gamecocks.

The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bleckley County (Cochran, GA). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Bleckley County defeated Perry (Perry, GA), 57-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Gamecocks battle the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Screven County will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 51-46 non-league loss to Statesboro (Statesboro, GA).
