In Wednesday's non-league test, the New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers (New Berlin, IL) basketball squad defeated the visiting Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL), by a tally of 38-30.

The Vipers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sangamon Valley/Tri-City for a MSM bout on Thursday, December 4.

With the loss, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL) to encounter the Tigers in a Western Illinois Valley test on Monday, December 1. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Greenfield/Northwestern won 33-25 in their recent non-league test against Vandalia (Vandalia, IL)
