The Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL), 62-34 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Winston County (Double Springs, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the 2A Area 10 test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Winston County was trounced by Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL), 70-33, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Belgreen for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 28. Brilliant will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Hubbertville (Fayette, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
