The Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL), 72-23 in Monday's non-league test.
The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Wilson (Florence, AL). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Wilson was trounced by Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL), 71-49, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Phil Campbell for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 28. Phillips will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Winston County (Double Springs, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-4.
