California High School Basketball - Yucca Valley holds off Aquinas

November 27, 2023: Yucca Valley, CA 92284

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Yucca Valley Trojans (Yucca Valley, CA) and the visiting Aquinas Falcons (San Bernardino, CA), saw Yucca Valley's basketball squad hold off Aquinas by a tally of 44-40.

With the victory, Yucca Valley improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Serrano (Phelan, CA) to confront the Diamondbacks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 29. The Diamondbacks come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Serrano lost 50-23 in their recent non-league challenge against King (Riverside, CA)

Next up, the Falcons confront the Great Oak Wolfpack (Temecula, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. Aquinas will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 61-38 non-league win over Santiago (Garden Grove, CA).
