Mississippi High School Basketball - Bogue Chitto nips Copiah Academy

Bogue Chitto Bobcats (Bogue Chitto, MS) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Copiah Academy Colonels (Gallman, MS), 36-31 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bogue Chitto upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats host St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 1-4.
Next up, the Colonels play the Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Copiah Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 57-17 non-league win over Clinton Christian Academy (Clinton, MS).
