East Prairie Eagles (East Prairie, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Charleston Bluejays (Charleston, MO), 46-42 in a league bout.

With the win, East Prairie upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Westwood Baptist Academy (Poplar Bluff, MO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Westwood Baptist Academy won 48-18 in their recent league bout against Thomas Jefferson School (St. Louis, MO)

Next up, the Bluejays clash with the Meadow Heights Panthers (Patton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 29. Charleston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 60-35 non-league loss to Bismarck (Bismarck, MO).
