Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA), 37-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Underwood upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to IKM/Manning (Manning, IA) to play the Wolves in a Western Iowa bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Southwest Valley (Corning, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Shenandoah will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
