The Stagg Chargers basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Shepard Astros to 25 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Chargers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reavis for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 29. Stagg will meet a Rams team coming off a 51-29 non-league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Rams record now stands at 3-0.

The Astros (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Red Wolves enter the South Suburban - Blue contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Thornton Fractional South was routed by Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 51-44, in a non-league contest.
