Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Grace Christian Academy Crusaders (Kankakee, IL), 28-24 in a league bout.
With the victory, Beecher upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Crusaders play the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Grace Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 30-15 league win over Streator (Streator, IL).
