South Carolina High School Basketball - Greenwood nips South Aiken

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Greenwood Eagles (Greenwood, SC) and the visiting South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC), saw Greenwood's basketball squad hold off South Aiken by a tally of 41-36.

With the victory, Greenwood improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC) to play the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 29. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Thoroughbreds play the Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. South Aiken will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
