In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans basketball team scored a good 53-37 win over the South Fork Ponies.
The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL). The Tigers come into the Western Illinois Valley contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Greenfield/Northwestern dropped by Carlinville (Carlinville, IL), 59-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Ponies battle the Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. South Fork will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.
