Texas High School Basketball - Clark can't hold off O'Connor

The O'Connor Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Clark Cougars to 57 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weslaco for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. O'Connor will battle a Panthers team coming off a 61-37 non-league loss to Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.

The Cougars (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pearland (Pearland, TX). The Oilers enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Pearland was nudged by Deer Park (Deer Park, TX), 51-49, in a non-league contest.
