The Isle of Wight Academy Chargers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen to 44 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Chargers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atlantic Shores Christian for a Metropolitan contest on Friday, December 2. Isle of Wight Academy will meet a Seahawks team coming off a 63-46 non-league loss to Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 3-1.

The Minutemen (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsburg Christian Academy (Williamsburg, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Williamsburg Christian Academy was outscored by Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA), 59-50, in a league contest.
