The The Carmel School Wildcats (Ruther Glen, VA) basketball nipped the host Guardian Christian Academy Royal Knights (Chesterfield, VA), 2-0 in Monday's league test.
The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Covenant was tipped by Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA), 51-43, in a non-league test.
The Royal Knights now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host New Bridge Academy for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. Guardian Christian Academy will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 56-4 league loss to Yeshiva of Virginia (Richmond, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-2.
