The Rustburg Red Devils basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting William Campbell Generals to 57 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Monday.
The Red Devils now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Altavista for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 30. Rustburg will battle a Colonels team coming off a 65-50 non-league win over Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 1-0.
The Generals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Brookville was defeated by Altavista (Altavista, VA), 65-50, in a non-league contest.
