Tennessee High School Basketball - Cumberland Gap can't hold off Cherokee

The Cherokee Chiefs basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Cumberland Gap Panthers to 39 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Monday.
The Chiefs now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Greene for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Cherokee will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 60-55 non-league win over Unaka (Elizabethton, TN). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-4.
The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grainger (Rutledge, TN). The Grizzlies come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Grainger was nudged by Northview Academy (Kodak, TN), 45-38, in a non-league contest.
