Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Liberty Lightning (North Liberty, IA), 54-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southeast Polk upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Indianola (Indianola, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lightning play the Washington Warriors (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Friday, December 2. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 75-19 non-league loss to Davenport North (Davenport, IA).
