Paxton Bobcats (Paxton, FL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL), 34-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Paxton upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach, FL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Choctawhatchee lost 62-37 in their recent non-league bout against Navarre (Navarre, FL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Florala Wildcats (Florala, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Straughn will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 51-48 league win over Zion Chapel (Jack, AL).
