Mississippi High School Basketball - North Pike thwarts Amite County

The North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) basketball knocked off the host Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS), 63-55 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Loyd Star notched a victory over Salem (Tylertown, MS), 12-0, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Natchez for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Amite County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 81-64 non-league loss to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.
