Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN), 65-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Anderson County upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Campbell County lost 56-38 in their recent non-league bout against South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Heritage Mountaineers (Maryville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Halls will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 67-41 non-league loss to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN).
