Battle Ground Academy Wildcats (Franklin, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Franklin Road Academy Panthers (Nashville, TN), 61-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Battle Ground Academy upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Grace Christian Academy (Franklin, TN) to play the Lions in a Division II-A Middle District 3 bout on Friday, December 1. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Grace Christian Academy lost 81-43 in their recent league game against The Webb School (Bell Buckle, TN)

With the defeat, Franklin Road Academy moves to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Davidson Academy (Nashville, TN) to face the Bears in a non-league game on Thursday, November 30. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
