The Buchanan Bucks basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Eau Claire Beavers to 41 in the Bucks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bucks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dowagiac for a Wolverine B contest on Thursday, November 30. Buchanan will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 63-50 league loss to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-1.
The Beavers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against New Buffalo (New Buffalo, MI). The Bison enter the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest with a 0-0 record.
