Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Calvary Christian Knights (Columbus, GA), 68-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Glenwood upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Gators host Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Hooper Academy lost 62-57 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Dale Academy (Greenville, AL)

Next up, the Knights play the Carver Tigers (Columbus, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Calvary Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Central (Talbotton, GA).
