In Tuesday's non-league outing, the DeKalb County Tigers (Smithville, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Cannon County Lions (Woodbury, TN), by a margin of 54-52.
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Watertown (Watertown, TN). The Purple Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Watertown was tipped by Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN), 58-40, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Warren County for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1. Cannon County will clash with a Pioneers & Lady Pioneers squad coming off a 49-48 non-league loss to Franklin County (Winchester, TN). The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers record now stands at 1-3.
