Central Falcons (Tuscaloosa, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Marion Rams (Marion, AL), 51-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Fairfield (Fairfield, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Fairfield won 63-52 in their recent non-league bout against Huffman (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Rams play the Dallas County Hornets (Plantersville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 77-74 non-league loss to Southside (Selma, AL).
