Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL) and the host Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL), saw Chilton County's basketball squad hold off Marbury by a tally of 52-51.
With the victory, Chilton County improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Wetumpka won 80-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Central (Hayneville, AL)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. Marbury will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 67-41 non-league loss to Lanier (Montgomery, AL).
