The Colbert Heights Wildcats basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Waterloo Cougars to 32 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tharptown for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Colbert Heights will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 63-54 non-league loss to Addison (Addison, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.

The Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL). The Eagles come into the 1A Area 16 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Covenant Christian prevailed over Danville (Danville, AL), 76-51, in a non-league contest.
