The Lone Tree Lions basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Columbus Wildcats to 59 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keota for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Lone Tree will battle a Eagles team coming off a 85-48 league win over Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA). The Falcons come into the SEI - North contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Louisa-Muscatine was nudged by Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA), 50-27, in a league contest.
