Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rural Special Rebels (Fox, AR), 70-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Concord upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Pirates host Pangburn (Pangburn, AR) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Pangburn won 85-45 in their recent non-league bout against Bradford (Bradford, AR)

Next up, the Rebels play the West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) in a 1A Region 2 bout, on Friday, December 1. Rural Special will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 63-37 league win over Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR).
